Snake River Farms grading begins where USDA grading system leaves off. USDA Prime does not adequately represent the quality of their distinctive and delicious beef. For this reason they utilize the Japanese marbling scale which accurately measures the marbling. The cattle are raised along the high plain of the Snake River in Idaho with no growth promoting hormones.
